Section 5-32 Schedule of permit fees.



Prior to the adoption of 2002-5-32 on 01/30/2002, Section 5-32 read as follows.


 SCHEDULE

     (a)    Permit fees.

     Total Valuation    Fee

     $1000.00 and less    No fee, unless inspection required,  in which case a $15.00 fee for each inspection shall be charged.

     $1,001.00 to $50,000.00    $16.50 for the first $1,000.00 plus $5.50 for each additional  thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $50,000.00.

     $50,001.00 to $100,000.00    $286.00 for the first $50,000.00 plus $4.40 for each additional  thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $100,000.00.

     $100,001.00 to $500,000.00    $506.00 for the first $100,000.00 plus $3.30 for each additional  thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $500,000.00.

     $500,001.00 and up    $1,826.00 for the first $500,000.00 plus $2.20 for each additional  thousand or fraction thereof.

     (b)    Moving of buildings or structures. For the  moving of any building or structure, the fee shall be $110.00.

     (c)    Demolition of buildings or structures. For  the demolition of any building or structure, the fee shall be as follows:

         (1)    0--100,000 cu. ft.    $55.00

         (2)    100,000 cu. ft. and over    $0.55/per

                 1,000 cu. ft.

     (d)    Permit for signs.

 MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS TO EXISTING SIGNS

     Routine maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, advertising panels,

     painting, etc.    No fee.

     Repairs or alterations involving structural components:

     Value of Work        Fee

    $0 thru $1,000.00    $11.00 for the first $1,000.00.

     $1,001.00 thru $15,000.00    $11.00 for the first $1,000.00 plus $5.50 for each additional  $1,000.00 or fraction thereof.

     Over $15,000.00    $88.00 for the first $15,000.00 plus $1.10 for each additional $1,000.00 or fraction thereof.

     (e)    Certificate of occupancy inspection fee shall  be $5.50. Additional inspections shall be  $5.50 per inspection. See subsection (i) below for mobile or manufactured housing fee.

     (f)    Permit fee for a tent. The fee for erecting a tent which will be used for commercial or other purposes shall be $11.00.

     (g)    Permit fee for curb-cuts. For the cutting  of a curb for the purpose of installing a driveway,  the fee shall be $5.50 for each cut.

     (h)    Permit fee for parking lots. For the paving  of parking lots the fee shall be the same as the permit fees in subsection (a).

     (i)    Permit fee for a mobile home or manufactured home. The  fee for inspecting footings, tie-downs and appurtenances of a mobile home or manufactured home including the insurance of a Certificate of Occupancy shall be $27.50.

     (j)    Fees doubled where work started without permit. Where work for which a permit is  required by this Code is started or proceeded with prior to obtaining said permit, the fees herein  specified shall be doubled, but the payment of such double fee shall not relieve any persons from fully complying with the requirements of this Code in the execution of the work nor from any other penalties prescribed herein.

     (k)    Reinspection fee for first inspection.    $25.00.

     Any additional violations will be calculated by increasing the reinspection fee by twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per occurrence.
