Chapter 5 BUILDING, CONSTRUCTION AND RELATED ACTIVITIES*

Section 5-171 Adopted.

    There is hereby adopted by the City for the purpose of establishing  rules and regulations for the  installation of mechanical systems, including alterations, repairs, replacement, equipment,  appliances, fixtures, fittings and appurtenances, including ventilation, heating, cooling, air conditioning, incinerators, and other energy-related systems, that certain mechanical code known as  the Standard Mechanical Code, 2000 Edition with State Amendments, as revised and the whole thereof, including Appendix B, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended.  One (1) copy is filed in the office of the building inspection department and such  code  is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length in this article.
