Section 5-131 Adopted.



Prior to the adoption of 2002-5-131 on 01/30/2002, Section 5-131 read as follows.

    There is hereby adopted by the city for the purpose of establishing  rules and regulations to promote public safety, health, and general welfare, through structural strength, stability, sanitation, adequate light and ventilation, and safety to life and property from fire and other hazards incident to the construction, alteration, repair, removal, demolition, use and occupancy of dwellings,  apartment houses, building, structures or premises used as such, that certain code known as the  CABO One and Two Family Dwelling Code, 1995 Edition, with State Amendments. In addition,  adopt Standard Housing Code 1994 of which not less than (1) copy has been and now is filed in the  office of the planning and zoning director and such code is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length in this article, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling in the matters of occupancy and habitation in all buildings and other structures therein contained within  the corporate limits of the city.
