Chapter 5 BUILDING, CONSTRUCTION AND RELATED ACTIVITIES*

Section 5-110 Same--Application, nature and character.

    Any person operating or desiring to engage in or work at the business of gasfitting, either as a master gasfitter or as a journeyman gasfitter in the city, shall make application to the contractor's examining board to take an examination for a gasfitting certificate provided for at such time and  place as the examining board may direct. The examination may, at the option of the examining  board, be made in whole or in part in writing, and shall be of a practical and elementary character,  but sufficiently strict to test the qualifications of the applicant.
