Prior to the adoption of 2002-5-106 on 01/30/2002, Section 5-106 read as follows. There is hereby adopted by the city for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the construction, alteration, removal, location and maintenance of all natural gas and liquified petroleum gas systems, including permits and penalties, that certain gas code known as the Standard Gas Code, 1994 Edition with State Amendments, as revised and the whole thereof, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended. One (1) copy is filed in the office of the clerk of the city, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein controlling in the construction, alteration, removal, location and maintenance of all natural gas and liquified petroleum gas systems within the corporate limits of the city.
