Section 22-36 Swimming pool (residential).
(a) A residential swimming pool shall not be constructed in any required yard except a rear or side yard, provided further that in no instance shall a swimming pool or any of its appurtenances be located nearer than five (5) feet to any rear lot line, nor in any case nearer than the required side yard setback for the principal building for the district in which it is located. (b) When located on a corner lot, a residential swimming pool shall be located from the property line on the side street a minimum of seventy-five (75) percent of that required for the front yard setback for the district and the setback from the rear property line shall be fifty (50) percent of that required for the rear yard setback for the district.
