Section 2-214 Membership; retirement
(a) Any employee as defined in section 2-212 who entered the service of the City after June 1, 2000, or who has previously elected to join the defined contribution plan, shall become a member. (b) Any member may, as a matter of right under the provisions of this chapter, retire from active service when he has attained the age of sixty-five (65) years and shall have at least ten (10) years of service as defined in Section 2-21 2.
