Chapter 2 ADMINISTRATION*
Section 2-190 Military leave of absence
Any employee who leaves the service of the City to serve in the armed forces of the United States of America may, if he so desires, leave his contributions in the Pension Plan and remain a member thereof provided he or she returns to service with the City within ninety (90) days of his discharge under the terms set forth under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, a copy of which is on file in the offices of the Human Resources department. The Plan will provide contributions, benefits and service credit to qualified military service in accordance with Section 414(u) of the Code.
