Section 19-38 School zones on state highways; speed limits.
The following locations on state highways shall be designated as school zones and the maximum speed limit shall be twenty-five (25) miles per hour between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: (1) West Jackson Street (U.S. 319 Business and S.R. 35 Business) from a point 22.5 feet south of College Street to a point 215 feet north of Barrow Street, a distance of 0.19 mile. (2) East Jackson Street (U.S. 319 Business and S.R. 35 Business) from a point 240 feet south of Hansell Street to a point 525 feet north of Myrtle Drive, a distance of 0.52 mile.
