Section 11-16 repealed



Prior to the adoption of 11-16 on 12/08/2003, Section 11-16 read as follows.

    The practice of going in and upon private residences in the  city by solicitors, peddlers, hawkers, itinerant merchants or transient vendors of merchandise not having been requested or invited so to do by the owner or occupant of such private residences for the purpose of soliciting orders for the sale of goods, wares and merchandise or disposing of or peddling or hawking the same is declared to be a nuisance and is by this section prohibited and the same shall be unlawful.
