Section 10-3 Rental rates.

Prior to the adoption of 2002 (10-3) on 06/10/2002, Section 10-3 read as follows.

     The rental for the use of the municipal auditorium when rented as aforesaid  shall be at the following schedule of rates, and the rates shown in the following schedule shall be exclusive of any  and all taxes which may be imposed by law:

     (1)    Commercial I: Events sponsored by a professional  promotor and a profitmaking organization:

         6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight    $  300.00

             plus 5% of total seat revenue.

         6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (matinee)    300.00

             plus 5% of total seat revenue,

         12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. (matinee)    300.00

             plus 5% of total seat revenue.

         Seat revenue will be calculated as follows:

         a.    Reserved seats only or combination  of reserved seats and general admission: Multiply the  total number of available seats times the highest cost of a reserved seat.

         b.    General admission only: Multiply  the total (number of available seats) times the average cost of a general admission ticket.

     (2)    Commercial II: Events sponsored by a civic group nonprofit organization sponsoring a  professional appearance where any revenues are collected or received by a person other than a  member of the sponsoring nonprofit organization:

         6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight    $  300.00

         6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (matinee)    300.00

         12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. (matinee)    300.00

     (3)    Event sponsored by a nonprofit organization which  has provided in writing a federal tax exempt number:

         6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight    $  200.00

         6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (matinee)    200.00

         12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. (matinee)    200.00

     (4)    Events sponsored by a profit-making or a nonprofit-making  organization where no revenue  is derived for the organization as a result of the event:

         6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight    $  60.00

         6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (matinee)    60.00

         12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. (matinee)    60.00

     (5)    Rehearsals for all events (not to include building of sets):

         6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight    $  40.00

         6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (matinee)    40.00

         12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. (matinee)    40.00

     (6)    For any use not set forth above and not prohibited by this chapter, the rental shall be at  such rates as the city council may prescribe.
