Celebrating 93 Years!
Held in beautiful, historic downtown Thomasville, the Rose Festival has been a Southwest Georgia tradition since the 1920’s! Enjoy roses, roses, and more roses, plus two parades, live music and street dance, arts & crafts, fantastic food and so much more! Plus, most events are free! The schedule below will help you plan but don't forget to check our calendar closer to the event date for additional events during this festive week!

Thursday, April 24
36th Annual Children’s Rose Bud Parade ~ Begins at 7 p.m. on Broad & Jefferson St. at the Courthouse. Possibly the cutest parade featuring hundreds of area children!
Friday, April 25
93rd Annual Rose Show ~ 1:30 p.m. - 6 p.m., Under the big top at Broad St. & Remington Ave. The Rose Show opens with a ceremonial ribbon cutting featuring Thomasville's 2014 Rose Queen and local dignitaries.
8th Annual Orchids on Parade ~ 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., inside the Genealogical Library at 135 N. Broad St. The Thomasville Orchid Society showcases orchids grown by its members.
Annual Thomasville Police Inspection ~ 3 p.m., Thomasville Rose Garden
66th Annual Rose Parade ~ Begins at 7 p.m. on Broad & Jefferson St. at the Courthouse. Watch as Thomasville rolls out its “rose” carpet with colorful floats, marching bands, and more!
16th Annual Street Dance ~ Immediately following the parade at 8:30 p.m., it's time to get down and boogie on Broad!
Saturday, April 26
37th Annual Rose City 10K Run ~ 8 a.m., Begins in front of the Post Office on N. Broad St.
35th Annual 1 Mile Fun Run (Ages 12 and Under) ~ 9:30 a.m., Begins in front of the Post Office on N. Broad St.
Rose City Golf Classic ~ Saturday & Sunday - April 26th & 27th, Country Oaks Municipal Golf Course, 36-hole, two-person, best ball tournament. www.countryoaksgolfcourse.org
93rd Annual Rose Show ~ 10 a.m., Continues under the big top on Broad St. & Remington Ave.
73rd Annual Civic Garden Club Flower Show ~ 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., under the big top in Paradise Park. Enjoy beautiful roses, wild flowers and horticulture presented by the Thomasville Civic Garden Club.
8th Annual Orchids on Parade ~ 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Continues inside the Genealogical Library at 135 N. Broad St. The Thomasville Orchid Society showcases orchids grown by its members.
Art in the Park ~ 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Paradise Park on S. Broad St., Featuring fine arts, crafts, great food, children’s activities and live music throughout the day.
12th Annual City of Roses Car & Truck Show ~ 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., View unique award-winning vehicles of all types around the Courthouse.
Bark in the Park ~ 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Paradise Park, lots of fun for dog lovers, bring your pooch and join in the fun!
