Thomasville offers many places to enjoy the beautiful South Georgia weather and scenery.  There are several beautiful parks perfect for a picnic or stroll like Cherokee Lake Park.  If golfing is your bag visit Country Oaks for a round.  Hunting is perfection on the plantations of South Georgia and is why we are known to be the 'Quail Capital' of the nation!  And for those that want to stay fit while on vacation, for a nominal fee the Thomasville YMCA welcomes guests to have a serious workout or a swim in the pool.  There are many places to play outside, get outdoors and soak up the sun in Thomasville!

Whether in the mood for a picnic or an afternoon walk, Thomasville offers many places to enjoy the beautiful South Georgia weather. 

The City of Thomasville permits the reservation of some park structures for special events through an application process handled by the Thomasville Public Works Office.
