Thomasville Center for the Arts

The Thomasville Center for the Arts is Thomasville’s doorway to the arts. This premier fine arts center offers art exhibits, cultural events and performances, as well as programs and classes in the visual, performing and literary arts for all ages. Throughout the year, the Center's galleries host a variety of artist exhibitions as well as selections from their extensive permanent collection. The Center's stage has seen hundreds of acclaimed and internationally reknowned performing artists of every genre through the years. The Center is also home of the nationally acclaimed Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival that takes place annually in November. The Center's galleries are free and open to the public during exhibitions, Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM and Saturday, 1 PM - 5 PM.

Thomasville Entertainment Foundation

Known as one of the nation’s oldest all-volunteer, non-profit concert series presenters, the Thomasville Entertainment Foundation's annual concert series features internationally celebrated artists and ensembles in the fields of opera, theater, dance, classical music, jazz, and other forms of entertainment. The City of Thomasville's Municipal Auditorium is a charming historical landmark (c. 1939/40) that seats 1,100 and hosts numerous dance, instrumental, musical and singing performances throughout the year. The building also houses the Thomasville Visitors Center and Thomasville Main Street offices.

Thomasville On Stage and Company

A community theatre dedicated to bringing live theatre to Thomasville, TOSAC has been providing the area with professional style theatrical productions since 1980. Citizens flock to the group’s cozy storefront theater on Broad Street to see plays of every genre. Classics, musicals, comedies and dramas have all been presented on TOSAC’s intimate stage including works by local playwrights. Five performances are given throughout the year as well as special holiday performances during Victorian Christmas.
