Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Mark E. Sealy
Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Mark E. Sealy joined Thomasville Fire Rescue in 1991. He was promoted to Engineer in 1998, Lieutenant in 2002, Captain in 2005 and Assistant Fire Rescue Chief in 2012. Currently, Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Sealy serves as lead supervisor for B-shift.
Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Sealy has also served with Meigs Volunteer Fire Department and Pelham Volunteer Fire Department.
Some of Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Sealy’s achievements are Thomasville Firefighter of the Year in 1994 & 2006 and Fire Officer of the Year in 2008. His training and achievements include EMT in 1993, Paramedic Certification in 1996, National Registered Paramedic, National Certified Confined Space Technican, Trench Technican, Hazmat Technican, Fire Instructor I & II, and EMT/Paramedic Preceptor. Captain Sealy also teaches EMT classes at Southwest Georgia Technical College.
Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Sealy is a member of International Association of Fire Fighters Local 2084.
