Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Allen Powell
Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Allen Powell joined Thomasville Fire Rescue in 1990. He was promoted to Engineer in 1994, Lieutenant in 2000, Captain in 2003, and Assistant Fire Rescue Chief in 2005. Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Powell currently serves a the C-Shift lead supervisor.
Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Allen “Doctor” Powell has also served as a Prevention Officer in the past and is National Professional Qualifications certified.
Some of Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Powell’s training and achievements are Georgia POST Certified Police Officer, Fire Inspector I, Fire House Smoke Operator/Driver, and National Professional Qualifications Evaluator.
Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Powell is a member of International Association of Fire Fighters Local 2084 and the Fire Chief Association.
