Kathy M Royal is currently assigned as Lieutenant in Support Services Division. Lt. Royal has been with the Thomasville Police Department since 1991. During her tenure in law enforcement, Lt. Royal served as Communications Officer, Patrol Officer, Patrol Sergeant, and Lt. in Support Services Division. Lt. Royal is a certified FTO, and a certified POST Instructor. Lt. Royal holds an Associates degree in criminal justice from Thomas College. Lt. Royal is a graduate of the Georgia Command College Professional Management Program (PMP), and is currently enrolled at the Georgia Command College class 32.
