Sanitary Sewer Services
The City of Thomasville’s Water Pollution Control Plant offers complete treatment with a capacity of 6.5 million gallons per day and a present load of 4 million gallons per day. Current sanitary sewer service within the corporate city limits is made available to new customers for a connection fee (see current sewer rates) according to user type and location. If sanitary sewer service is not available for new development, the developer is responsible for the extension of a public sewer system, and the City will inspect and maintain it after successful installation.
