The Zoning Division for the City of Thomasville works with commercial and residential development by implementing the City of Thomasville’s Municipal Code and Comprehensive Plan. Working closely with the development community, as well as the general public, the Zoning Division verifies the zoning of properties, building setbacks, parking, signage and landscaping.
Whether you are planning on buying or selling property, starting new construction or additions, or opening a business of your own, remember to check the zoning first. The Zoning Division also assists the Historic Preservation Commission, Architectural Review & Zoning Appeals Board, Planning and Zoning Commission, and Tree and Landscape Board.
