Applications for posted positions are accepted daily in the Human Resources Department on the second floor of the City of Thomasville Administration Building, located at 111 Victoria Place from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.  Applicants should take appropriate measures to ensure that completed applications for advertised vacancies are received in this office by 4:30 p.m. on the published closing date.

CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS REP I

This position requires a thorough knowledge of the computerized billing system, utilities metering and meter reading practices, utilities routes, rules, regulations, and billing procedures; the ability to work well with figures and analyze consumption patterns, detect irregularities and operate office machines including a data entry terminal and personal computer. Must communicate effectively with customers both orally and in writing and must be able to follow a problem from its inception to solution in a timely manner. This position may provide support to the utilities credit and collection function and the Customer Care Representatives as staffing and time allow.

Starting salary is $10.15/hr.  Closing date is Wednesday, October 8th.
