PERMIT TECHNICIAN

Candidate will answer and direct phone inquiries from owners, builders, contractors and public for the Building Department. Will be responsible for building inspection files. Candidate must schedule construction inspections; will be responsible for initiating and following up on utility connections and cut-ins; will provide technical support for the Building Contractors’ Examining and Appeals Board; will provide technical support for the building inspectors.

Must have strong organizational skills and abilities in multi-tasking. Must have ability to use Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Microsoft Publisher and Outlook Express. Verbal and written communications skills are essential.

Starting salary is $11.18/hr. Closing date is Friday, May 13.

 

 

EOP/CDL - PUBLIC WORKS

A combination of the following skills and experiences will be considered: operation and maintenance of backhoes, motor graders, mowing tractors, fork-lifts etc. Employee will assist with tree removals. Must have a strong background in carpentry work, welding, mechanics, concrete framing and pouring, pipe - laying and asphalt work.

Starting salary is $11.18/hr. Closing date is Friday, May 13.
