Country Oaks Golf Course is a municipal golf course owned and operated by the City of Thomasville for the pleasure of residents and visitors. It is located just 4 miles from Thomasville on Georgia Highway 122 (Pavo Road). The warm, southern climate allows the course to be open year round.

Country Oaks is beautifully located in a wooded setting accented by three lakes and surrounded by areas of wild azaleas, dogwoods, pines, oaks, and magnolias. The course is a par 72 and plays 6,284 yards from the blue tees, 5,964 from the white, and 5042 from the red. The course carries a USGA rating of 71.3 from the blue, 69.9 from the white, and 69.9 from the red. The front nine is a par 36 and the back nine is a par 36. Water is in play on holes #2, #6, #9, and #15. Water hazards must be carried on all holes from the blue and white tees.

Additional Information

Country Oaks is a daily fee course, but membership rates are available. The green fee is valid for play on a single day. Various rate specials are offered throughout the year, such as discounts for senior citizens and play during the winter months. Weekdays:	Riding Fees: $25.00 (18 holes) $19.00 (9 holes) includes green fee & cart fee Walking Fees: $16.00 - all day fee
Weekends & Holidays:	Riding Fees: $32.00 (18 holes) $24.00 (9 holes) includes green fee & cart fee Walking Fees: $20.00 - all day fee
Carts:	Although walking is permitted, electric carts are available for rental.
Hours:	The course is open from 7:30 a.m. until sunset every day except Christmas.
Tee Times:	Tee times are taken 48 hours in advance and are suggested on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Players with tee times have preference over players without tee times.
Services:	The Country Oaks Pro Shop offers club rental, club repair, refreshments, and a full line of golf merchandise, including balls, gloves, clubs, and apparel for men and women. Lessons are available from PGA Professional Mike Owens for players at all skill levels.
Additional Information:	U.S.G.A. rules apply. No singles or fivesomes on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Appropriate golf dress is required.
